'''Program note'''
''Transition'' is a slow expressive music that gradually develops into longer and longer phrases. The music is mournful and multifaceted with a lot of musical layers in different tempos.

The title is both quite concrete, as the many musical layers slowly change over the course of the work, but is also used in a more figurative sense, as the movement from one state of mind to another, perhaps even connected to what comes after.
The piece is available in different versions:
* Transition for symphony orchestra (2022)
* Transition for accordion, brass and string orchestra (2025)
* Transition for accordion and sampled electronics (2025)
* Transition for accordion, sampled electronics and string orchestra (2025)
