Fast Track (2017)
Organ
Fast Track exists in several versions. This one was composed simultaneously with the original version for sheng and accordion.
The work is repetitive and minimalistic, almost static, with small changes that slowly alter the expression and character of the work. The musical material is based on a fast broken chord presented in the first few bars. The broken chords are slowly transformed while descending, and tones are pulled out of the web and gradually become more independent of the fast repeating pattern from the beginning.
In the second part, the movement changes character when a deep and sonorous tone returns several times and a new rhythmic figure in 7/8 disrupts the original broken chords in 6/8. The movement ends on a long tone in the deeper middle register of the organ.
The score is available in two versions: a full score and a visually reduced playing score.

Fast Track (2017)
Orgel
Fast Track findes i flere versioner.
