Poem

at intet døgn kan rumme dens meningsløse tidsløshed.

Kim Mortensen 1996

In English (Google translation)

To pursue the hope which kills me

I pursue the idea that nourishes hope.

I will pursue the love that nourishes the idea

and does not allow me to die in oblivion,

but nourishes hope in an hour so infinitely great,

that no day can hold its senseless timelessness.

More recently, the thought has haunted me,

that eternity is made up of little moments

which by definition

are unique.
