The work is inspired by the haiku poem above by the old master Basho, here reproduced in two versions.

It is his last poetry - his death poem.
The mood is somewhere between dream and reality, the living and the dead where consciousness wanders by unknown paths.

Stemningen er et sted imellem drøm og virkelighed, det levende og det døde hvor bevidstheden vandrer af ukendte stier.
