Solo piano

Til Ofelia (To Ofelia) was composed for my daughter, Ofelia.

The work evokes a fluid sense of time over a repeating chordal pattern, which gradually develops into a more driving second section with intersecting patterns and an insistent rhythm, eventually concluding with a brief return of the opening theme. Heartfelt, contemplative, and outgoing, the work is unified by musical material that guides the listener through a range of expressive landscapes.

Soloklaver
