In Danish

For at Forfølge det Håb, som dræber mig
forfølger jeg tanken, der nærer håbet.
Jeg forfølger kærligheden, der nærer tanken,

og ikke tillader mig at dø I glemslen,

men nærer håbet om en time så uendelig stor,
at intet døgn kan rumme dens meningsløse tidsløshed.

På det seneste har den tanke forfulgt mig,
at evigheden er opbygget af små øjeblikke
der per defination
er unikke.

To pursue the hope that kills me
I pursue the thought that nourishes hope.
I pursue the love that nourishes the thought,

and does not allow me to die in oblivion,

but nourishes the hope of an hour so infinitely great,
at no day can hold its meaningless timelessness.

Lately, the thought has haunted me,
at eternity is built of small moments
which by definition
are unique.
