- Sort Sol (Black Sun) is a natural phenomenon occurring in southwestern Denmark during spring and autumn. Massive flocks of starlings - forming murmurations - create fantastic formations that block the sun's light.
- The work was commissioned by Mikkel Egelund Nielsen and is dedicated to Mikkel Egelund Nielsen and Bjarke Mogensen.
