- Cello and piano
- Nocturne is a work in three parts. In the first section, a lyrical melody is heard in the cello accompanied by gently falling piano arpeggios, culminating in an intense, expressive burst before returning to the initial lyrical mood. The middle section is rapid, evocative of a dense fog of music where individual tones emerge like small drops of sound. The final part returns to the opening music, varied in form and melodic material.

- Nocturne er et værk i tre dele. I første del høres en lyrisk cellomelodi over blidt faldende akkordbrydninger i klaveret, hvilket afbrydes af et ekspressivt udbrud, der kulminerer i en fortættet musik, før den lyriske stemning vender tilbage. Den midterste del er hurtig og minder om en tæt tåge af musik, hvor toner stikker ud som små dråber af lyd. I den sidste del vendes der tilbage til musikken fra begyndelsen i en varieret form.
